HUNTSVILLE, AL (WZDX) - Veterans across the Tennessee Valley will soon have a central location to service their needs and answer questions.
Ground was broken Thursday morning on a new 47,000 square-foot outpatient clinic along Markaview Road. It will bring the Madison, Decatur and Huntsville-based clinics together in one building.
"We're going to make it more convenient to our veterans. Rather than have to go to Birmingham for every situation, we're going to be able to do a lot of out-patient services here, right here in our community. This is a great day," said Madison County Commission Chairman Dale Strong.
The $39.5 million facility is expected to open in the fall of 2015.
