ALBERTVILLE, AL (WZDX) - The funeral for Nick Honea will be at the Albertville High School Fine Arts Center Saturday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Albertville City Schools Foundation Nick Honea Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Honea, 27, was found around 11:30 a.m. in a garage on Thursday, according to Marshall County Coroner Marlon Killian.
Honea was using a gas-powered pressure washer to wash concrete inside a garage with the door down. He died of carbon-monoxide poisoning.
Honea was the son of Albertville Mayor Tracy Honea and was also a contestant on season two of the CMT reality show "Redneck Island."
