MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WZDX) - Silver Airways says it will stop operating flights out of Muscle Shoals and four other airports in the southeast.
The company says new federal regulations, a low number of passengers, and other factors led to the decision. They say it's "economically impossible" to continue the flights.
Employees who are in good standing will be offered jobs elsewhere within the company.
The airline has been operating in the Shoals since October of 2012.
