Decatur Convenience Store Manager Arrested for Selling Spice
DECATUR, AL (WZDX) - Decatur police said they confiscated synthetic marijuana and guns from a convenience store as the result of a three-month investigation.
Decatur police said they found synthetic marijuana -- also known as spice -- and five loaded handguns at the Mini Mart on Carridale Street Southwest. Police said they found the drugs and guns after closing the business Tuesday night. Officers said one of the guns had an altered serial number.
The manager of the store, Muneer A. Hussein, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a firearm with an altered serial number.
Hussein's bond was set at $7,500.
Police said they started investigating the business in January for selling spice.
