Trinity Marine's Dirt Bike Stolen while He Serves Overseas

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WZDX) - A Marine's father tries to surprise him with a tune-up on his dirt bike, but it's stolen from the repair shop before the Marine returns home.

Trinity resident Randy Tucker wanted to surprise his son Jonathan by getting his dirt bike tuned at Allsport in Decatur. His son has served as a Marine for the last year and a half and is currently stationed in Afghanistan. He returns home in May.

His father wanted the bike ready for him to ride when he got back, but the $3,000 blue and white Yamaha YZ 250 was stolen from a fenced-in area at the store.

The burglar was caught on camera and Tucker is asking the community to help find and return his son's dirt bike.

"He's not deserving of this. He's over there fighting for all of us, for our freedom and everything that our country stands for. He's not even in our country and somebody rips him off and steals something of his," said Tucker.

If you recognize the suspect or see the dirt bike, call the Decatur Police Department at 256-341-4660.
