Second Florence Shooting Suspect Identified Other Captured

FLORENCE, AL (WZDX) - One man has turned himself in and police have identified a second suspect in a Monday night shooting that wounded a woman on North Eclipse Street.

Police said arrest warrants have been issued for Matthew Terhune, 25, of Florence.

Terhune and Travis Eric Fallows, 25, were both wanted for the shooting, which left a woman shot in the hip. Fallows turned himself in to police Friday.

Both are facing charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault and shooting into an occupied building.

Police said the shooting happened after Fallows and a man got into an argument at a gas station. Fallows and Terhune showed up at the man's home a short time later, police said, and fired into the home, hitting the woman.

The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Anyone who has seen Terhune is asked to call the Florence Police Department at 256-768-2728.
