CareSpot in Leawood is a 3,200-square-foot, freestanding facility located on 95th Street, east of Mission Road, near Price Chopper. It is convenient to Ensley Court, Stonebridge, Ranchview, Somerset Acres, Old Leawood, Indian Acres, and Nall Hills. It will provide the same broad array of urgent care and occupational health services found at the four other area CareSpot centers found in Overland Park, Kansas City, and Raytown.
"This fifth location in the Kansas City area is important to our goal of providing a variety of locations that are convenient and close to where people live and work. That matters to our customers, and our extended hours 7 days a week work well with busy lifestyles," said Paul Dickison, Vice President of Marketing for CareSpot. "Additional locations provide more convenient urgent care options for everyone in the broader region. Also, our joint venture partnership with the well-respected HCA Midwest Health system is a helpful option with a large hospital and physician network if CareSpot patients need specialized or follow-up care nearby."
Patients also benefit from the convenience of new online and mobile scheduling tools. At CareSpot.com, customers can save a spot in line from home before walking in, or book an appointment for a future time or day from their computers or smartphones. The center also features new check-in tablets for a paperless, streamlined registration when patients arrive.
CareSpot offers healthcare services for non-emergent medical problems that can develop unexpectedly and require immediate attention, filling the gap between primary care physicians and hospital emergency rooms. Most insurance plans are accepted. Patients receive the staffing benefits and expertise of a proven network of CareSpot urgent care centers combined with the option to access the broader resources of a large hospital and physician system if a higher level of care is required. All centers in the area operate as CareSpot in partnership with HCA Midwest Health System. CareSpot manages daily business operations.
CareSpot-operated centers provide a wide range of healthcare services such as urgent care, health checks, and occupational health services. Headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, CareSpot operates 51 urgent care centers across Tennessee, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri, and is the largest urgent care provider in the state of Florida.
