Alabama Student Video Contest

A state organization is expanding a contest that allows public school students to win prize money.

The Alabama Association of School Boards is holding its third annual Video Contest, for which students make videos highlighting their school experiences. In the past, the video contest only accepted entries from high school students, but it's now open to students in grades six through 12. The winning entry gets prizes including $1,500 and a video camera. The association will begin accepting entries in February.
