Two weeks after a deadly shooting in Nashville, family and friends say their final goodbyes to country singer-song writer Wayne Mills. FOX54's Breken Terry takes us to the services in Mills' hometown of Arab.
It was an emotional day for everyone that knew Arab native Wayne Mills, many at his funeral were swapping stories and memories they have of the "gentle giant". They talked about his impact on country music, his talent as lead singer of the Wayne Mills Band, and how it's the little things friends miss the most.
After the group shared stories and hugs, the grim reminder of why they gathered from all parts of the country to Arab High School set in, to say goodbye to a father, a husband, and a friend. Hundreds attended Mills' funeral, from childhood friends, to fans, to other musicians chasing the dream Mills lived. Mills leaves behind his wife Carol and young son Jack.
