Lauderdale County, Ala. (WZDX) -- A plea deal has been reached in the stabbing death of a teenager.

19-year-old Autumn Wood was charged with the murder of 14-year-old Brooklyn Hollins. On Thursday, she pled guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter

The stabbing happened on March 24th, 2012 when the teens got into a fight at a party.

"There's a certainty that she is going to prison. The other thing is finality. There wont be any appeals and she will be held accountable for the reckless death of Brooklyn Hollins," said Lauderdale County District Attorney Chris Connoly.

A judge will sentence Wood December 19th.

She faces up to 10 1/2 years in prison.
