Welfare Check of Children Leads to Morgan County Meth Lab

A welfare check of three children led to the discovery of a meth lab in Morgan County.

The Morgan County Drug Task Force arrested Jessica Larkins and James Dewberry for manufacturing meth in a storage shed behind their home in the Danville community.

Larkins' three children, ages two, four, and ten, are being decontaminated and then DHR will take custody of them. 

A search warrant was served after a School Resource Officer contacted the Drug Task Force.

Larkins and Dewberry will be held in Morgan County, each with a $220,000 bond.
