Changes are coming to tattoo policies in the Army.
The Secretary of the Army has approved strict new rules regarding things like tattoos and grooming. The policies now state that new recruits will not be allowed to have tattoos that are visible below the elbows or knees or above the neckline. Current military members will be grandfathered in.
The military says the rule changes are awaiting one more signature to be officially instated. The changes will most likely become policy in the next 30 to 60 days.
