Two men in Lincoln County jail say they are responsible for several burglaries across north Alabama and southern middle Tennessee. Investigators say 26-year-old Justin Hicks and 24-year-old Samuel Stanage confessed to a burglary in Limestone County plus 5 burglaries in Madison County and Lincoln County, TN.
The Limestone County Sheriff's Office was called to a burglary at Putman Circle. A neighbor noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area. Police later spotted the vehicle at a residence in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely said, "When our officer went up there and was able to get with Lincoln County and found the two suspects that had just broken into the house on Putman Circle here in Limestone County. They were in the process of going through what they had just stolen."
Hicks and Stanage will be extradited to Limestone County.
