It's hard times for a non-profit organization that feeds the hungry in Huntsville.
The Rose of Sharon runs a soup kitchen and thrift store. But the agency doesn't have enough money to keep itself open, meaning those services are in jeopardy.
Sharon Walker of Rose of Sharon says, "I try not to worry about and trust God that he will turn it around and enable us to continue to do what he's called us to do. Sometimes it's seems last minute, but God always works it out."
The Rose of Sharon provides fifty meals per day six days a week for breakfast and lunch. It's also a place the homeless can come get warm clothing like coats and hats during the winter.
