Free summer meals will be available at some area schools.
Huntsville City Schools stepping up efforts to feed students during the summer months.
This year, the system will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner at various schools across the city.
Huntsville is the only district in the state offering 3 hot meals through the Department of Agriculture's Summer Food Service Program. The meals will be available to all kids in Huntsville and the surrounding areas who are 18 years old or younger.
Adults, who are with a child, can purchase the meals. It's $2.50 for breakfast and $4 for lunch or dinner. The program begins June 3rd and runs through July 26th.
