FLORENCE, Ala. (WZDX) - 33-year-old Huntsville resident Cedrick Lamond Hicks, who law enforcement dubbed the "Ball Cap Bandit," pleaded not guilty to robbing a Rogersville bank in November.

Hicks entered the plea Tuesday in the Lauderdale County Circuit Court.

In April, a grand jury indicted Hicks on a first-degree robbery charge stemming from a robbery at Regions Bank in Rogersville on November 27th.

Officials say Hicks committed seven other robberies in the area. In most of those cases, the robber reportedly wore a ball cap.

Hicks remains in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $350,000 bond.

Court officials said the case against Hicks could be tried in June.
