After a few rounds of rain and thunderstorms over the weekend, sunshine will make a return for most of this week. But changes are on the way.
An upper level "cut-off" low pressure system will dig into the central part of the country by the weekend. It's called an cut-off low because it's "cut-off" from the main flow, basically meaning it doesn't move for a while. And for us, this will mean well below average temps, lots of clouds, and on/off rain for a few days when it arrives late in the week.
Here's the forecast:
Monday: Patchy AM fog, then becoming mostly sunny. High 76
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 82
Wednesday: Mostly Sunny. High 84
Thursday: Partly Cloudy.. chance for a t-storm. High 80
Friday-Weekend: Lots of clouds, scattered rain, and daytime highs ranging from upper 50s to mid 60s
