GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WZDX) – The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is searching for clues after a body was found in Lake Guntersville.
The victim has yet to be identified.
Officials have been leading a daily sweep of the lake since 20-year-old Deonta Griffen jumped from the Lurleen Wallace Bridge two months ago.
Investigators say Griffen jumped following a high-speed chase that began in Boaz.
The coroner says he assumes the body is Griffen's, but is waiting for positive identification from forensics before he can confirm it.
