FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn. (WZDX) - A man wanted for the murder of a Cowan man was arrested in Florida.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Coty Holmes, 25, Manchester, was arrested in Fort Walton Beach by U.S. Marshals.
Holmes was on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's most-wanted list for the March 24 murder of Corey Matthews, whose body was found in a field in Cowan.
Holmes will appear before a judge to determine extradition to Tennessee.
Authorities are still looking for David Gordon Jenkins, 46, in connection with the murder.
