1. A pair of explosions rocked the finish line at the Boston Marathon. The first bomb went off just before 2:00 p.m. CST.

2. Rescue workers worked to removed debris and frantically tried to save those caught beneath the rubble after the explosions.

3. Huntsville's Suzanne Taylor finished the marathon just minutes ahead of the explosions. No injuries have been reported for the more than 20 runners from the Valley.

4. A Florence man returns home after nearly seven weeks at UAB Hospital. He was injured while saving his two young children from a house fire.

5. A Huntsville woman was taken to the hospital after a stabbing in the 4000 block of McVay St. It happened around 4:30 Monday afternoon.

6. On Monday night, The Huntsville Stars celebrated the 66th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier with the Brooklyn Dodgers.

7. The 2012 college football champs visited the White House Monday. President Obama was presented a road white Alabama jersey and autographed helmet.

8. The Washington Update Breakfast at the VBC was a sell-out. U.S. Senator Richard Shelby addressed concerns, saying debt is still the number one issue in America.

9. An airplane was raised out of Lake Guntersville Monday. The FAA and NTSB were on scene to investigate the plane crash that left the aircraft in the water.
