FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn. (WZDX) - Two men were arrested and two more are being sought for killing a man the Franklin County sheriff says was affiliated with white supremacists.
According to Franklin County, Tenn., Sheriff Tim Fuller, two men from Manchester are in custody. Todd E. Dalton, 39, and John Corey Lanier, 26, are being held without bond for the murder of Corey Matthews, 26.
Authorities also are looking for David Gordon Jenkins, 46, Manchester, and Coty Keith Holmes, 25, Hillsboro. Fuller said they are considered dangerous.
All four were indicted for first degree felony murder Monday by a special grand jury.
Matthews was beaten to death in late March. His body was found in a field across from the Jackson Cemetery in Cowan. Fuller said they believe Matthews was targeted due to his affiliation with a white supremacist organization.
