1. Huntsville police are investigating a fatal shooting. Henry Woods was found dead near Brenda Street and Ford Place.

2. Alabama A.D. Mal Moore is stepping down. The former Alabama quarterback was a part of 10 national championships, three as an Athletic Director.

3. County courthouses are closed to the public across the state thanks to a mandate from Chief Justice Roy Moore because of underfunding.

4. Limestone County is getting an exemption to keep its office open to the public. The district courts are only in session on Wednesdays. Jackson County also remains open.

5. Madison County ranked fourth in a study that named the healthiest counties in Alabama. 25 factors were considered including childhood poverty, number of smokers, obesity levels, and access to physicians and dentists.

6. The iconic Toomer's Oaks at Auburn University will be removed April 23rd. The university will host the final rolling of Toomer's corner after Auburn's A-day game on April 20th.

7. The Senate has passed a huge spending bill to fund the government through the end of September, preventing a shutdown at the end of the month. A vote tomorrow in the House would send the measure to President Barack Obama for his signature.

8. Newly released video shows a Florida school bus driver pushing a child off her bus. The special needs child broke her ankle on the fall. The driver is facing child abuse charges.

9. Michigan police responding to a report of a man in a suspicious vehicle got quite a surprise. A deer jumped out. The driver says he hit the animal by accident and was taking it home for food.
