FLORENCE, Ala. - A third suspect has been arrested for a weekend rape on the campus of the University of North Alabama.
Eddrick Harris was arrested Monday afternoon in connection with the incident that occurred early Sunday morning at Rivers Hall, an on-campus co-ed dormitory.
D'Anthony Juqua Byrd and Deandre Alexander Harrison were both arrested on Sunday.
UNA police responded to Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital Sunday after receiving word a UNA student had been raped in the dorm. Police Chief Bob Pastula said the victim knew her attackers.
Harrison and Harris were both on the 2012 UNA Football roster. Byrd is not a student at the school.
