1. U.N.A. police say a rape was reported Sunday morning at Rivers Hall on campus. Two people were arrested Sunday.

2. A dog fighting ring was shut down in Hollywood after a six month investigation. Police say ten pit bulls were found chained to trees at a vacant lot in Jackson County.

3. Women Democratic lawmakers in Alabama are upset that the Republicans are pushing bills limiting abortions and some types of birth control. Representative Laura Hall of Huntsville says the state's GOP has adopted an anti-female agenda.

4. The Huntsville Art Museum is featuring young artists from the Valley to kick off the 26th annual Youth Art Month Exhibition. Work from 185 students will be displayed through April 21st.

5. The U.S. Space and Rocket Center is ranked 2nd on Alabama's list of top tourist attractions. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail ranks number one and Point Mallard is 10th.

6. The California Wildlife Sanctuary where a lion killed a 24-year-old intern last week re-opened to the public Sunday. The Cat Haven Preserve will resume regular operations.

7. Actress Ashley Judd may have her eyes set on Washington. The 44-year-old social activist reportedly told key advisers she will announce her candidacy for US Senate this spring. Judd is calling the rumors fabrications.

8. All-terrain vehicle specialist Polaris has announced plans for a new airless tire. The polymer web tire can withstand a shot from a .50 caliber bullet or a puncture from a rail spike.

9. A Tennessee State professor plans to drive across the country without any gas. The car runs solely on solar energy.
