Huntsville International Airport Launching Petition - FOX 54 WZDX – Huntsville News, Weather and Sports

There's no question airfare out of Huntsville is high.  In fact, statistics from the U.S. Department of Transportation show airfares from the Huntsville International Airport are the most expensive in the country.

Now, airport officials are asking for your help to combat those high prices.

The Huntsville International Airport has launched a new petition asking regulators to allow small and mid-sized airports to negotiate prices. 

That petition includes a survey that asks for you to confirm your support.  It reads, "Sign me up as a supporter to help Huntsville International Airport (HSV) bring local control back to communities in an effort to lower airfares in our market!"
