The Fifth Annual Consumer Wine Awards Competition, where trained consumers evaluate entries and wineries get valuable insights directly from the market, is open for entries and closing March 1.

Lodi, California (PRWEB) February 17, 2013

The Fifth Annual Consumer Wine Awards Competition, where trained consumers evaluate entries and wineries get valuable insights directly from the market, is open for entries and closing March 1, according to Tim Hanni, Competition Director. "Our program gives wineries data from hundreds of consumers at a very small cost, and then gives the winners promotional opportunities across all trade channels."

The Competition also welcomes consumer evaluators and sponsorships; interested parties should go to http://www.consumerwineawards.com. The program is sponsored by the Lodi Tokay Rotary Club and proceeds benefit their charitable work. " For wineries who enter few competitions, we can provide them with an opportunity to showcase their wines with similar wines from around the world, have independent consumers evaluate them and offer feedback and recommendations," Hanni said. The competition takes place March 23-24 during the Lodi Grape Festival and winners are announced March 30.

To submit wines, go to http://www.consumerwineawards.com and click "Submit your wine." For further information, contact Ryan Sherman, 209-896-6012.
