A Morgan County man is in custody in the murder of his ex-wife.
Deputies are questioning the Lacey's Spring man whose ex-wife was found dead in their home Thursday morning.
Rodney David Hagood, 46, was sought after his ex-wife's body was found in their home on River Loop Road in Lacey's Spring.
Deputies are investigating the case as a homicide.
Sheriff Ana Franklin said the two were divorced, but still lived together in the home.
Sheriff Franklin says the couple has a history of domestic violence.
"From interviewing the family members, none of them were surprised that this happened. They were waiting on the day this happened. That's a terrible situation to live in," says Franklin.
Neighbor JD Atchley says, "I can't say I foreseen it coming, but I've seen him arrested multiple times for domestic violence. They've always gotten into it a lot. And you know the laws been out here a lot, here in the last few months."
Hagood was taken into custody Thursday evening.
