5. Four people were taken to the hospital after shots rang out on Bourbon Street Saturday night. The streets were filled with Mardi Gras revelers when the incident occurred.

6. Police say they've found camping gear and weapons inside the burned-out truck belonging to Christopher Dorner. SWAT teams searched Southern California's snow-covered mountains for the former Los Angeles police officer suspected in three killings.

7. The LAPD was not taking any chances ahead of Sunday night's Grammy Awards. Officers spent the day patrolling outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

8. Boeing completed a test run of its controversial 787 dreamliner Saturday in Seattle. The flight will be used to gather detailed information on the airplane's lithium ion batteries, which caused all 50 dreamliners being grounded worldwide.
