Lauderdale County Coach Suspended for Classroom Comments - FOX 54 WZDX – Huntsville News, Weather and Sports

A Lauderdale County High School football coach received a 10-day suspension without pay comments he made about gays in a classroom setting.

Coach Bob Grisham will also have to attend sensitivity training, the County school board decided Monday afternoon.

Grisham's comments were recorded by a student in the classroom and sent to WAAY-31 and the TimesDaily. The comments included referring to the first lady as "fat butt Michelle Obama" and telling students "I don't like being around queers."
