2. A standoff in Jackson County left a man dead. The sheriff says the man was shot when he fired a gun at officers.

3. Crooks in Marshall County are stealing street signs. Emergency responders say the issue is a growing problem and could cause a delay when they need to know where to go for an emergency.

4. Decatur's Eaton Manufacturing Plant is set to close in April because of decreasing demand. The plant manufactures hydraulic cylinders for hydro power.

5. An Axe Body Spray commercial is causing controversy, claiming to send contest finalists to an Axe Apollo Space Academy in Florida. The problem is "Space Academy and "Space Camp" are both solely operated by the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.

6. A father in Minnesota is accused of pointing an AK-47 at his daughter because of bad grades. She failed to make straight A's and came home with two B's on her report card.

7. He just got his permit, now his driving is sunk. Police say a teenager in California got the brake and gas pedals mixed up and ended up driving his SUV into the ocean.

8. All toilet paper was removed from the boys bathrooms at a Pennsylvania school. The principal is forcing the kids to sign out a roll because they were shoving rolls into the toilet and streaming it all over the floors.

9. Tuesday was Media Day in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII. There was a packed house at the event that tends to border on the bizarre. Former Miss Alabama USA, Katherine Webb is cashing in on her newfound fame, reporting for Inside Edition.
