The Jackson County Sheriff's office now has a new tool to fight crime.
His name is Luke. He's a Black Labrador Retriever. Luke is 18 months old and can detect a number of drugs including: Meth, Heroine, Marijuana and Cocaine.
Officials with the sheriff's office say the new narcotics dog will help investigators track down drugs and criminals. In addition to Luke, the department also has three Blood Hounds and a Belgium Malinois.
