Search crews spent the day Monday searching for a fugitive on the run in Marshall County.
A police chase that started south of Albertville resulted in the Boaz man jumping off the Lake Guntersville bridge.
Police and Rescue crews are now searching the river 20-year-old Denota Markey Griffen.
Earlier in the evening, Boaz police Chief Terry Davis said officers went to Griffen's home to serve an outstanding warrant.
Griffin was not home, but officers spotted him driving through town around 10:30 p.m.
The chase began on Highway 431 Northbound toward Huntsville. Officers chased the suspect at speeds exceeding 100 mph. They attempted to stop the chase using spike strips.
Chief Davis said Griffin got out of his car on the bridge around 10:45 p.m and jumped over the side guard rail.
Officers spotted Griffin resurface, but then lost sight of him under the bridge.
Officers are continuing to search the area.
