1. Two men were shot at a Huntsville Apartment Complex on Martin Road. Huntsville police say the incident happened just after 4:00 Wednesday afternoon.

2. A Lawrence County High School student died after collapsing near the football field Tuesday. An athletic trainer tried to resuscitate Thomas Allen. He died at the hospital.

3. In Courtland, police say an 18-year-old student was arrested for making terrorist threats against his school. Corinthian Gilchrist is accused of threatening students and teachers at R.A. Hubbard.

4. Governor Robert Bentley was in Hackleburg Wednesday to announce funds for disaster relief. The town is still recovering from the tornadoes of April 27th, 2011.

5. A ruling was handed down in the Ann Brown case. The dance studio owner will have to shuttle students in and out because of limited parking spaces.

6. Marshall County Commissioners will commemorate the five lives lost in the April 27th tornadoes with a memorial in front of the county's courthouse. The monument will be unveiled tomorrow.

7. "The majority of Americans support banning the sale of military-style assault weapons," said President Obama, while speaking on the backlash from the Connecticut shootings. He says Vice President Biden will lead the administration's search for new gun policies.

8. The CDC says there was a 21 percent decline in new HIV infections among African American women between 2008 and 2010. Overall, the number of new infections has remained stable over the last decade.

9. It was liftoff in Kazakhstan. A US astronaut is on board with the international crew headed to the International Space Station. The crew will spend a year and a half in orbit.
