Five Arrested on Human Trafficking Charges - FOX 54 WZDX – Huntsville News, Weather and Sports

Madison police say five people were arrested on human trafficking charges for prostitution of a 15-year-old girl.

Thursday night Madison officers, the FBI and Madison County Narcotics Unit members picked the five people up along with the girl at the Motel 6 on Madison Boulevard.

Police arrested Ashley Patton, 19; Javoris Glasper, 21; Michael Taylor, 25; Alexander Blackmon, 23; and Keshuna Williams, 20. Police said all of them are from Memphis.

Madison police say the DBI called them after receiving information about the prostitution from the National Human Trafficking Resource Center. After surveillance video showed what appeared to be prostitution activities taking place, police moved in and searched three rooms. They said they identified the girl with matching information from the tip.

The girl is in the care of the Alabama Department of Human Resources. All five people charged with trafficking have $50,000 bonds.
