Former Huntsville Non-Profit Employee Charged with Theft

A former employee of Big Spring Partners has been charged with stealing more than $10,000 from the non-profit organization.

Stefanie Nicole Dryer a.k.a. Nicki Dryer is charged with two counts of first degree theft of property and one count of second degree theft of property. A warrant for her arrest was issued on November 9th and she was booked into the Madison County Jail on November 16th.

Court records show the first count is for $1,184.19, the second for $3,732.00 and the last is for $5,384.24.

Big Spring Partners is a notable organization in Huntsville which has managed numerous projects in the downtown area, including the Veteran's Memorial. Board members include Mayor Tommy Battle, John Stallworth and Bob Ludwig.

Dryer is set to appear in court on December 12th.
