Company Expands Custom Design Services in Response to Surge of Customers Looking for Something Unique Regarding Outdoor Cat Enclosures for Their Cats
Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) November 30, 2012
When asked how he ended up selecting CatsOnDeck for his outdoor cat enclosure, Larry Miller commented, “After extensive online research, it became evident that they were the obvious choice! I was not able to find anything else that even came close to what CatsOnDeck offered in terms of variety, flexibility and design. When I first called them, they requested some photos and dimensions, and I soon received a set of CAD (Computer Automated Drawing) documents of an enclosure with two sections connected via an enclosed walkway almost eight feet high. It was awesome! My friends refer to it as the ‘Ritz’. I disagreed. It deserved more. Perhaps something like the Taj Mahal. I like this enclosure so much I installed a video camera that’s live 24/7.” (CatsOnDeck has Miller’s video feed posted on its web site).
CatsOnDeck has a sizeable selection of cat enclosures from small to large with many accessories. This gives customers the ability to tweak their kit in order to fulfill a unique requirement! The company reports that nearly one fifth of its customers are interested in either a total custom design or some sort of variation on existing configurations. “Many people who contact us are looking for something more than a box of wire fencing to contain their cats,” comments Jim Montgomery, Chief Operations Officer. "For those with unique requirements, we can design one from scratch, just as we did for Mr. Miller. In addition, our lineup of accessories will allow customers to significantly extend the overall square footage of their enclosure on a vertical basis, which is ideal for cats since they prefer to lord over their domain from elevated positions.”
CatsOnDeck offers a large line of accessories, such as: lofts, extendable ramps, kitty cubbies, and side perches. The company also focuses on pet door access into their enclosures with a special panel and tunnels of different lengths to reach a window or patio door cat flap. These can be added to the enclosure anytime. “As a matter of fact, we enjoy a significant amount of repeat business from prior customers who wish to increase the size, or change the configuration of their enclosures.” adds Montgomery.
“By the way, I must mention that I seriously did not expect much from an Internet based operation with regard to customer support. But, these people are truly responsive!” Mr. Miller also stated that he was surprised at the quality of product. “They didn’t cut corners!” reflects Miller, “In this day and age where things are thinner, lighter, and flimsy, CatsOnDeck took the opposite path with thicker, heavier, and stronger! This became very clear during the recent Sandy storm. The enclosure didn’t budge one tenth of an inch. At the worst, I expected it to be in the next county, and at the best, piled up against the fence. Nothing! Sandy didn’t phase it one bit!”
Incorporated in 2009, the company is a manufacturer of easy-to-assemble and modular pet enclosure systems for both indoor and outdoor use. Custom and prefabricated kits enable pet owners to provide a safe outdoor environment for their cats and small dogs. For more information go to http://www.CatsOnDeck.com
