Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) November 30, 2012
On November 30, 2012, Yumi Media responded with comments to a Taste.com article about having a vegetarian Christmas, giving festive vegetarian recipes for a healthy, meat-free holiday.
According to the Taste.com article, “There's no reason that a vegetarian Christmas has to feel any less lavish, or even less traditional, just because it's meat free.” The article mentions that with a little more planning and getting creative, you can provide a tasty vegetarian meal for the holidays.
According to Australian chef Simon Bryant with, “good quality spices, oils and vinegars are the foundation of great vegetarian cooking, combined with fresh, seasonal produce and excellent quality legumes,” you can not go wrong this holiday season.
The article states that not forgetting to add the traditional meat-free dishes found during the holidays, such as cranberry sauce and eggnog, will give it that Christmas authenticity. The article encourages vegetarians to, “make your meal feel more exotic by using less obvious produce like mixed grain quinoa, Israeli cous cous, or French lentils.”
Yumi Media responded to the article with applause towards the tasty and healthy tips for the holidays. “Sharing healthy vegetarian ways to have a meat-free holiday is great because you do not really hear of holiday recipes for vegetarians,” says Yumi Media representative Takara Licausi. “Food products such as Quorn offer many recipes for the vegetarian palate that taste great. I have yet to hear about a Quorn complaint.”
