Huntsville School Board Works on Contract Extension for Superintendent

The Huntsville City School Board announced they will vote on extending Superintendent Dr. Casey Wardynski's contract in 30 days.

Wardynski has asked for a three-year contract extension. The proposed contract changes would also eliminate bonuses and raises unless other school system employees receive a raise. The revised contract would also increase the superintendent's monthly car allowance from $600 to $800.

The official contract will go online for public view tomorrow. Local school board representatives are available for public contact regarding the contract changes.
