GOP Vice Presidential Nominee Paul Ryan arrived at Huntsville International Airport Friday morning with his wife and kids in tow.
Alabama Governor Robert Bentley greeted the family before hopping in a car and heading over to the Von Braun Center for a fundraiser.
The campaign event kicked off at 11:30 with a reception and roundtable scheduled shortly after. Hundreds of people paid the pricey fee for a chance to see Ryan.
It was $1,000 to get in the door, $5,000 for a photo, and $25,000 to attend the roundtable.
Ryan brought in over $1 million during his Huntsville stop.
Ryan's kids, Liza, Charles and Samuel got a chance to visit the U.S. Space and Rocket Center while the family was in the Rocket City.
