Suspects in Decatur Krystal Murder to be Tried Separately
The three suspects in last year's double murder at the Krystal in Decatur, will be tried separately.
Judge Glenn Thompson granted a motion filed by Cassanda Eldred's attorneys to be tried separately from the other two suspects: Jordaan Creque and Ezekiel Gholston.
Judge Thompson also agreed to provide statistical information on the grand jury after Creques' attorneys filed a motion to dismiss based on the makeup of the grand jury.
Attorneys will have thirty days to examine the information.
Creque, Eldred and Gholston are charged with the 2011 shooting deaths of Krystal employees: Jesse Aguilar and Jeffrey Graff. An employee arrived to work at the Krystal and found them dead inside the restaurant.
