1. A man was shot in the chest at a home on Hickory street in Tuscumbia and then airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. Police believe Larry Jarmon Jr. was involved in the incident.

2. The second of four escapees from Lauderdale County was caught in Florida. Deputies say Wesley Gibson was found breaking into a church building in Santa Rosa County.

3. A DeKalb County child is lucky to be alive after getting caught in the crossing arm on a school bus. Police say she traveled about 200 feet while hanging on.

4. No one was home when a morning fire destroyed a home in Laceys Spring. The house on Dwight Street was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

5. Amy Bishop says she wants to go to trial for the 1986 death of her brother despite the DA's decision not to prosecute her. The UAHuntsville professor sentenced to life in prison in a shooting rampage that killed three of her colleagues says she wants to prove she had a loving relationship with Seth Bishop.

6. Incredible video from Colorado shows a skateboarder colliding with a deer. The rider was cruising around 40 miles per hour when the animal charged right into his path causing only minor scrapes and bruises.

7. A poodle in Massachusetts got a wild ride while stuck in the front grill of a car. The dog rode 11 miles after the driver slammed on the brakes but didn't see the dog after he hit it and kept going.

8. American Airlines is grounding at least 8 of its 757's after reports of loose seats on two separate flights over the course of three days. Passengers realized their seats were not completely attached at 30,000 feet.

9. The US Space and Rocket Center "lites it up pink". In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Saturn V rocket was illuminated with pink lights.
