Federal agents say they believe the man who attempted to rob an Albertville bank Tuesday could be responsible for bank robberies in Priceville and Guntersville.
Authorities say a man entered the Cadence Bank on Highway 431 in Albertville around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, presented a note and demanded money. The man became frustrated when questioned by the teller and left.
An FBI spokesman said they believe the suspect in the Albertville robbery is also responsible for two robberies that took place in early August -- one at Peoples Bank in Guntersville and the other at Traditions Bank in Priceville.
The man was described as approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing adhesive bandages below his lip and on the bridge of his nose. He left in a dark blue or black four-door medium-sized car, possibly a Ford Taurus.
No one was injured.
