UAHuntsville shooter Amy Bishop pleaded guilty to charges of Capital Murder and Attempted Murder Tuesday afternoon in the Madison County Circuit Court.
As part of a plea agreement, she will not face the death penalty. She will still have a jury trial for her capital murder charge on Sept. 24 at 10am in Madison County.
47-year-old Bishop is accused of killing three biology department faculty members and wounding three others in an on-campus shooting on February 12th, 2010.
Judge Alan Mann is presiding over the case.
Bishop has been in the Madison County Jail since the shooting. The attorneys for this case are under a gag order.
