College Football is back and it is unofficially Fall. It is my favorite time of the year as we get to enjoy what I think is the greatest sport there is.
I am still getting used to calling Texas A&M and Missouri members of the SEC. I saw both teams mentioned multiple times this weekend as part of SEC coverage and each time I did a double take. I am looking forward to see both teams get into the meat of the SEC schedule and see how they fare. I predict both teams will struggle in their first season in the nation's best conference.
After week one, it is hard to argue that Alabama is among the best in the nation. They looked dominant against Michigan. The question is, just how good are the wolverines? We will see as the year wears on.
The Auburn Tigers showed signs of improvement. But, ultimately lost to the Clemson Tigers in Atlanta. My question again is just how good is Clemson. The Auburn defense made both Tajh Boyd and Andre Ellington look like All Stars. Clemson will get Sammy Watkins back this year, so I would say they have a legitimate shot to win the ACC.
Needless to say, I am looking forward to next week!
