Tuscumbia Police are leaving no stone unturned in the search for the person responsible for the death of 88 year old Elbert Davis, Jr.
Davis was found unconscious in his home Tuesday evening by a family friend. He died the next day from his injuries.
Tuscumbia police say it appears that he was the victim of a robbery gone wrong.
Tuscumbia Police Chief, Tony Logan says, "We completed all the physical evidence at the scene yesterday and the canvassing of the area and so now everything has been focused, and will be focused in the days ahead, on interviewing witnesses and potential suspects."
Logan says several neighbors have come forward with information. If you have any information on the case, call Tuscumbia Police.
