Tuscumbia Police Looking for a Killer - FOX 54 WZDX – Huntsville News, Weather and Sports

An 88-year-old Tuscumbia man has died after being found beaten at his home.

Elbert Davis was found unconscious in the basement of his home on High Street Tuesday evening.

He was flown to Huntsville Hospital with a fractured skull but died Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say there was forced entry to Davis' back door and his wallet was missing.

Police are investigating this as a capital murder case.
