Drug Agents Find Marijuana Growing in DeKalb County - FOX 54 WZDX – Huntsville News, Weather and Sports

During an air search for marijuana plants, DeKalb County drug agents found 72 pot plants growing near a home in the Kilpatrick community.

Down on the ground, investigators also found several pounds of dried marijuana stashed throughout the house.

The homeowners, 55 year old Johnny Wright and 63 year old Linda Gibbs are charged with trafficking in cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris believes their arrests will slow down some of the drug traffic in southern DeKalb County.
