Lincoln County Commissioners Vote to Increase Taxes

The Lincoln County Commission voted this evening to increase property taxes by 12%. They needed 13 votes to get the tax hike passed. They got 13 votes.

In July, the commissioners voted down a plan to increase property taxes by 43% after residents overwhelmingly expressed their objection to plan.
