Madison Police Officer Charged with Sex Abuse - FOX 54 WZDX – Huntsville News, Weather and Sports

A Madison police officer has been arrested and charged with sex abuse. William Watson was released from Huntsville Hospital this morning and transported to the Limestone County jail.

Watson has been charged with 1 count of sex abuse. His bond was set at $50,000, which he posted and was released.

The Limestone County Sheriff's office tells us that this has been an ongoing investigation and believes the abuse has happened over several years.

Watson has been placed on administrative leave while Madison officials complete an internal inquiry.
