Thanks to the generous support of the people of the Tennessee Valley and the FOX54 team, FOX54 won the 2012 American Cancer Society Celebrity Waiter Night.
The event is a friendly competition between media personalities in and around Huntsville. Thursday night at Chili's on University, FOX54 Nine O'Clock News Anchor Chase Gallimore served tables along with Kara Atkins, a Chili's waitress. Working together, Chase and Kara raised more than $800 dollars for the American Cancer Society.
The real winner is the ACS, which took in over $1,600 for the night. Thank you to all of you who left donations. And thank you to the ACS for putting this event together and creating more birthdays.
Cancer touches us all, and only by working together will we find a cure.
